Who Makes a Good Candidate?

Are you tired of pencilling, powdering, tattooing, or simply noting the missing hair in your brows each time you pass a mirror? Many people have uneven or scarred areas that alter hair growth. Ideal clients are in good overall health, have realistic expectations and enough donor hair.

Luckily for eyebrow restoration, very little hair is required to carry out the harvesting and reimplantation. You could replace full brows with as few as a couple hundred grafts. Count on a few days of sensitivity while healing, and standard precautions to avoid infection or other issues for the first 10 days.

Are Eyebrow Transplants Painful?

You may have some soreness and tenderness where the grafts are on your eyebrows. There will also be bruising and swelling on and around your eyebrows for a few days. Redness can also last up to five days as well. Pain is mild, and most patients only take over-the-counter medication if needed.

How Long Does it Take to Recover?

Recovery time is fairly quick, though it can vary per person. There may be scabs that last a few days. While they may itch, it’s important not to scratch at them. It’s normal for the transplanted hairs to fall out as new ones grow in, and may take from six months to one year for the eyebrows to be as full as you are wanting.
